Challah, Challah, Everywhere

I decided to make the Challah for Sabbath this morning, taking it to Beth Messiah this afteroon. So imagine my surprise to learn it wasn't open. Thankfully, I had called before I left. So, I have to take it tomorrow.
Anyway, I had read disolve the sugar in hot water and the warm soymilk and spices, then slowly add the flour, eggs and yeast. Mix well and then set aside to allow to rise.
Two hours later, I found that the Challah had overflowed the bowel and there was Challah everywhere. It took over an hour to clean the mess.
But it was the best Challah I'd ever made

I will make another batch. This time, using red, white and purple raisins.
Yum.
I just wish Mark was here to taste it. I just found this; I am sending it to Mark.

I'll Be Here I cannot ease your aching heart,Nor take your pain away; But let me stay and take your handAnd walk with you today.I'll listen when you need to talk,I'll wipe away your tears;I'll share your worries when they come,I'll help you face your fears.I'm here and I will stand by you,On each hill you have to climb; So take my hand, let's face the world...And live just one day at a time. You're not alone, for I'm still here,I'll go that extra mile; And when your grief is easier,I'll help you learn to smile!
